Al Ettifaq manager Steven Gerrard has insisted he has no intention of resigning despite his side’s disappointing run of results in the Saudi Pro League.

Despite the speculation surrounding his future, Gerrard remains determined to turn things around and believes he still has the support of both the club’s board and his players.
The former England international admitted responsibility for the team’s struggles, stressing that as head coach he must shoulder the blame for the recent results.
Gerrard also revealed that he has spoken with his players, urging them to remain united as they continue working to improve their performances.
He added that criticism from social media and outside the club will not distract him, insisting his full focus remains on helping Al Ettifaq recover from their difficult spell and return to winning ways.
