Harry Kane has reportedly agreed a new long term contract with Bayern Munich until June 2029, strengthening the German club’s plans to keep the England captain as a key figure for the next three seasons.
The agreement means Kane is expected to put pen to paper soon, with Bayern viewing the striker as an important part of their present and future ambitions. The club also reportedly considers him a leading candidate for the Ballon d’Or following his impressive performances in front of goal.
Kane has established himself as one of Bayern’s most important players since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023. His goalscoring ability, leadership and consistency have made him central to the club’s pursuit of domestic and European success.
The new deal would also underline Bayern’s determination to build around the experienced forward rather than allow uncertainty over his future to disrupt their plans.
Beyond his club ambitions, Kane continues to chase major individual milestones. Harry Kane Targets Ronaldo’s 146 Goal Record, reflecting his determination to keep climbing the Champions League goalscoring charts.
Cristiano Ronaldo remains the competition’s all time leading scorer with 140 goals in the traditional UEFA Champions League records, while Kane continues to pursue the leading marks set by the Portuguese forward. Reaching 100 goals would be a significant milestone for the Bayern striker, although overtaking Ronaldo’s record would require an extraordinary run of scoring.
For Bayern, keeping Kane until 2029 would provide stability and preserve one of Europe’s most dangerous finishers for the coming seasons.
Kane’s reported decision sends a clear message about his commitment to the German champions. Harry stays, and Bayern will hope his goals can help deliver more major trophies.
