Genk head coach Thorsten Fink has showered praise on Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare, describing him as a complete striker following another influential display in the club’s victory over Anderlecht.
Arokodare continued his impressive goalscoring form by finding the net and providing an assist as Genk secured a 2-0 win to strengthen their position at the top of the Belgian Pro League.
Softfootball reports Fink believes the 24-year-old has developed into one of the league’s finest forwards thanks to his all-round qualities and improved work ethic.
Speaking to Het Nieuwsblad, the German coach said:
Tolu is a top striker. He is fast, strong in the air, left and right-footed, and he scores. What more could you want as a coach?
Fink also highlighted the significant progress Arokodare has made away from the ball, insisting the striker has become a more complete player this season.
Moreover, he now also carries out his defensive duties, which he didn’t before,
the Genk boss added.
Arokodare has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, with his consistent performances playing a key role in Genk’s impressive push for the Belgian league title.
