Chelsea boss Maresca was full of praise for Alejandro Garnacho after their 3-0 victory over Wolves, saying the young winger is becoming a key player for the Blues. Given his fourth consecutive Premier League start, Garnacho showed why he is quickly becoming one of Chelsea’s most dangerous attacking options.

Softfootball reported that Garnacho, who had received praise from the Chelsea boss before the game, caused problems for Wolves’ defence. He was stopped by goalkeeper Sam Johnstone early on but still managed to deliver a couple of dangerous crosses during the first half.
Those chances didn’t result in a goal, but the 21-year-old made a big difference in the second half. He first sent a pinpoint cross that allowed Malo Gusto to head home his first Chelsea goal. Chelsea uploaded the video via their official X account.

Later, he squared a measured pass to Pedro Neto, who made no mistake with the third goal of the night.

Marseca explained Garnacho’s struggle to adapt to the Chelsea side:
He arrived here from another club where he wasn’t training 100 percent, so his physical condition wasn’t good. Slowly, slowly we worked on that, and now it’s better.
He is doing very well on the ball and off the ball. He knows that to play with us, he has to be good both on and off the ball. We are very happy with him right now.

Garnacho wasn’t alone in making an impact. Estevao Willian, introduced shortly after the hour mark, immediately influenced the game, delivering the cross that led to Joao Pedro’s goal. The 18-year-old Brazilian has quickly won over Chelsea fans since his arrival from Palmeiras this summer. Maresca also hailed Estevao. He said:
When you bring someone like Estevao onto the pitch, the energy is raised because people love this type of player.

Maresca added.
His talent is top, and we are helping him adapt and get the right minutes. He’s doing fantastic and will, in the next five to ten years, be a top player for this club. Fans pay to see players like Estevao and Cole (Palmer). He needs time, slowly slowly, but he’s going to start games for us in the future.
With Garnacho, Neto’s precision, and Estevao’s spark, Chelsea’s young wingers showed why Maresca trusts them. They can change games, and their performance proves the Blues’ attack is in very good hands.
