Fulham spoilt what Tottenham hoped would be a calmer return to Premier League action, grinding out a dramatic 2-1 win on the night Marco Silva quietly celebrated his 200th match in charge.
Spurs, who haven’t tasted a home league victory in six straight games now, walked into this one already bruised from last weekend’s painful 4-1 hammering against Arsenal, and somehow, things actually got worse.
Softfootball predicted the encounter to be a closely knitted affair in the pregame report, and the match started in absolute chaos for the home side. Barely six minutes in, Fulham were already two goals up and the Tottenham crowd stunned into silence.

First, Kenny Tete’s strike took a wicked deflection that left Vicario helpless, and moments later Harry Wilson caught the Spurs keeper completely out of position, whipping a brilliant long-range effort into the far corner.
For Tottenham, it was the fastest they’ve ever conceded two goals in a Premier League home game, a stat nobody in white wanted to be reminded of. And honestly, it could’ve been three if Samuel Chukwueze’s rocket hadn’t smashed off the post.
Fulham uploaded a video of the crazy celebration scenes that went on backstage after the victory via the team’s official X account.

Defensively, Spurs were all over the place. Pedro Porro had a moment he’ll want to forget, but Micky van de Ven bailed him out with a perfectly timed recovery tackle that kept Fulham from running away with it even further. By halftime, Fulham’s intent and confidence stood in clear contrast to Tottenham’s panic.
To their credit, Spurs came out with more urgency after the break. Randal Kolo Muani threatened with a glancing header, and that little spark eventually led to Mohammed Kudus pulling one back with a sharp left-footed finish past Leno.
Suddenly the momentum shifted, and Fulham spent a long spell hanging on as Spurs threw everything forward. Lucas Bergvall came inches from equalising, only for Raúl Jiménez to clear his header off the line in one of the game’s decisive moments.

Tottenham created chances; Wilson Odobert and Muani both wasted big ones, but Fulham’s resilience held firm. In the end, the visitors clinched their first away league victory of the season and stretched their unbeaten run against Spurs to four meetings.
For Tottenham, it’s another bruising defeat, their third loss in a row across all competitions, leaving Thomas Frank with more questions than answers after a rough November.
