Bringing in the likes of Pepi would help the Cottagers control matches and not lose like they did at Old Trafford in the late minute. According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, he claimed:

Fulham have agreed €37m package with PSV Eindhoven for Ricardo Pepi! All agreed also on personal terms. Final step needed: PSV looking for replacement on the market.

Fulham just signed Oscar Bobb from Manchester City on a permanent deal as Marco Silva look to strengthen his midfield already with the likes of Super Eagles of Nigeria duo, Samuel Chukwueze and Alex Iwobi.

Interestingly, PSV refused to sell Ivan Perišić to Inter Milan as they want to retain the experience of the Croatia international as they try to retain their league title this season and they enhanced that bid by thrashing Feyenoord today to maintain top spot in the league.

Pepi joined PSV Eindhoven in July 2023 for a reported €9 million ($9.8m) from FC Augsburg, signing until 2028.
