Softfootball understands that Fulham are edging closer to completing a permanent transfer for Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb, with negotiations between the two Premier League clubs now at an advanced stage, following recent reports that Fulham has officially opened talks to sign Oscar Bobb.
The Cottagers are confident of reaching an agreement for the 22-year-old Norway international, following a week of increasingly serious talks. as reported by sport expert Fabrizio Romano via his official X account.

He posted:
Negotiations advancing to final stages for Oscar Bobb to Fulham after initial bid sent last week, as revealed. Talks underway on both player and club side with Man City insisting on £35m valuation for Bobb. Permanent exit anticipated, not a loan.
What began as an initial £35 million bid last week has since evolved into detailed discussions over structure, add-ons and personal terms.
Manchester City, however, are holding firm on their valuation, believed to be in the £30–35 million range, and are keen on a permanent sale rather than any loan arrangement.

Despite Bobb being sidelined since December with a muscle injury, Fulham remain determined. The London club view the move as a statement signing under Marco Silva, signalling their intent to push on during a strong campaign.
Fulham currently sit seventh in the Premier League and are very much in the mix for European qualification, which has sharpened their ambition in the transfer market.
Bobb’s time at the Etihad has been mixed. He has made 15 appearances this season, mostly off the bench, and hasn’t featured since an early exit against Brentford in the Carabao Cup.

His pathway has grown even more complicated following Manchester City’s £64 million capture of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, a signing that has pushed Bobb further down the pecking order.
Fulham believe Bobb’s pace and creativity could reduce their attacking reliance on Emile Smith Rowe and Harry Wilson. Silva’s track record of reviving careers, Raul Jimenez and Smith Rowe himself, gives the club confidence Bobb could flourish with regular minutes at Craven Cottage.
Borussia Dortmund have monitored the winger since December 2025, but Fulham currently lead the race. Should the deal be completed, the £35 million fee would match the club’s record signing, underlining just how serious this move really is.
