Fiorentina have submitted an improved proposal to sign Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare from Wolverhampton Wanderers as negotiations between the two clubs continue.
The Serie A side have offered a loan deal with a €22 million buy clause, with talks now underway as they look to finalise an agreement for the highly-rated forward.
Arokodare is understood to be keen on the move, viewing Fiorentina as the ideal next step in his career and remaining hopeful that the clubs can reach a compromise.
Softfootball reported earlier this month that Wolves left the Nigerian striker out of their pre-season training camp in Portugal, a decision that further fuelled speculation over his expected departure this summer.

Wolves have rejected Fiorentina’s bid, with the club unwilling to approve a transfer under the terms presented.
With the player pushing for the transfer and Fiorentina intensifying negotiations, discussions are expected to continue in the coming days as both clubs work towards a final agreement.
