FC Barcelona members have officially been called to the polls after the club’s Board of Directors confirmed the holding of presidential elections, with voting scheduled for 15 March, according to Softfootball.

The electoral process will include the selection of the Electoral Board and Committee, publication of the electoral roll, submission of candidacies, endorsement checks, and a week-long campaign leading up to voting day.

Polling stations will be set up across all four Catalan provinces; Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona — as well as in Andorra. The club has launched a dedicated website to provide members with full election details. The upcoming vote will be Barcelona’s 15th presidential election since 1953 and the ninth conducted by universal suffrage.
