Roberto De Zerbi has called for improvement and a stronger mindset from his Tottenham Hotspur players following their frustrating 2–2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion, Softfootball understands.
According to comments posted by Fabrizio Romano on his x handle, De Zerbi urged his squad to maintain the same attitude shown in the game.

Romano posted:
Roberto de Zerbi: We have to improve a lot of things. The crucial part is to keep this mentality and I told the players to come on Monday afternoon with the same behaviour they showed against Brighton. I don’t want to work with sad people, with negative people
Spurs twice took the lead but failed to hold on, with defensive lapses allowing Brighton to fight back on each occasion in a match that reflected Tottenham’s inconsistent season.
The result adds to a difficult start for De Zerbi, who has struggled to turn things around since his appointment, including a 1–0 defeat to Sunderland AFC that extended the club’s winless league run to 105 days.

Tottenham remain 18th in the Premier League table, firmly locked in a tense relegation battle as the season approaches its final stretch.
