Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot says the Red Devils are determined to avenge their heavy Premier League defeat to Tottenham when the two sides meet again in the Carabao Cup.
Both teams head into the clash full of confidence, following strong Premier League results last weekend, with Spurs thrashing Southampton and United claiming bragging rights over rivals Manchester City.

Softfootball reports that Dalot discussed the motivation behind Thursday’s tie while speaking to the club’s official website. He said:
It’s going to be a good game, especially because of the feeling that we left the last game that we played against them at Old Trafford. I think we didn’t play our best. So we want to give a different response in these types of games.
Dalot made clear United are targeting another trip to Wembley, insisting the squad is fully focused on progressing through the competition. He added:
We want to go to Wembley again. So these are the best games to play against really good teams. They are a good team, so it’s a good challenge that we are looking forward to.
