Chelsea has not closed the door on signing another attacker before the transfer window shuts on September 1, with the club still assessing market opportunities to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s forward line, Softfootball understands.
According to Football.one, the Blues are considering adding more firepower to the team ahead of the new season, and considerations are ongoing to bring in Manchester United outcast Garnacho to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea has already been one of the most active sides this summer, bringing in a host of young talents, including Liam Delap, Kendry Paez, Joao Pedro, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, and Estevao Willian.

However, not all will feature immediately. Paez is expected to head out on loan, while Estevao is viewed as a long-term project who will need time to adapt to English football.
Chelsea’s attacking depth is also being reshaped by outgoings. Noni Madueke made a £52 million move to Arsenal, Jadon Sancho has returned to Manchester United following the end of his loan, and Christopher Nkunku remains on the club’s transfer list.
Nicolas Jackson has been heavily linked with a summer exit, and Marc Guiu is also expected to leave on loan in the coming weeks.
With several forwards either departing or uncertain about their future, Chelsea are actively exploring the market, with a left-sided attacker considered the priority.
Meanwhile, Alejandro Garnacho remains a name of interest. Chelsea considered moving to Stamford Bridge. Garnacho had been a subject of interest last January, with the club taking their time till the summer transfer window.
The Argentine has been shown the exit door at Old Trafford, and as earlier reported by Softfootball, the winger is open to a deal within the EPL.
The Argentine international waterloo began when he publicly criticised the decision not to start him in the Europa League final loss to Tottenham. Consequently, Garnacho has been absent from United’s preseason preparations.
