Chelsea are edging closer to landing one of Europe’s brightest young talents, with talks progressing well for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.
Earlier Softfootball reported that the Blues have been chasing the 20-year-old Argentine for weeks, and momentum is finally building as negotiations between the two clubs move forward.
The deal has been helped by the excellent relationship between United’s CEO Omar Berrada and Chelsea’s hierarchy, and has allowed conversations to advance more smoothly than expected. Both clubs are now working on the fine details as Chelsea look to make Garnacho a key part of their future project.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano shared the latest on the situation on his Official X handle saying:
“Chelsea are advancing in club to club talks for Alejandro Garnacho!
Deal underway with Man United. Excellent relationship between United CEO Berrada and Chelsea hierarchy.
Garnacho only wants #CFC and turned down an approach from Bayern in last 48h; no chance.”
For Garnacho, the decision couldn’t be clearer. he only wants chelsea, rejecting a late push from Bayern Munich in the last 48 hours to keep his focus solely on a move to Stamford Bridge.
With Chelsea wanting to add more spark and creativity to their left wing Garnacho’s arrival would be a huge statement of intent. Now, all that’s left is for the two clubs to finalize an agreement, his determination to join the Blues could prove crucial in getting the deal over the line.
