Chelsea welcome Everton in the Match-Day 16 of the Premier league as they chase their first win in December, Softfootball understands.
Chelsea lost 2-1 to Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League Match-day 6 in a match they scored first through Brazilian forward, Joao Pedro but goals from Gianluca Scamacca and Charles De Ketelaere ensured they left Italy without a win.

The Blues are already looking forward to the encounter against the in-form Toffees like they shared on their official X handle, They posted:

There is pressure on Enzo Maresca to inspire the Blues back to victory. Their fans are still unhappy with how Chelsea drew goalless against Bournemouth in their last premier league match and lost 3-1 against Leeds United in the first game of December.
Head-to-Head
Chelsea and Everton have played 194 matches between them and the Blues have won 77 times and the Toffees picked 60 wins while 57 have ended in draws.
Star Player
Joao Pedro is Chelsea’s star player for this game and Everton must be wary of the Brazilian. He ended his mini goal-drought with the strike against Atalanta in Bergamo and capable of leading the Blues to a win.

Jack Greaslish will be the outlet for Everton as he would try to inspire the team to a win at Stamford bridge. The winger, who is on loan from Manchester City wants to impress and play his way back into the national team setup.
TEAM NEWS
Moises Caicedo is unavailable for this match as he serves his final three-match suspension. Liam Delap (shoulder), Levi Colwill (knee), Romeo Lavia, Dario Essugo (both thigh) and Mykhaylo Mudryk (doping suspension) are also unavailable.
Enzo Maresca is hopeful that Wesley Fofana will be available to feature against Everton after he sustained an eye injury during a freak accident in the midweek defeat to Atalanta.

Trevoh Chalobah could start at centre-back while captain Reece James may retain his play after playing 90 minutes in midweek. Cole Palmer is set to return in an advanced midfield role after being rested in midweek, while Estevao and Alejandro Garnacho will be looking to force their way back into the first XI on the flanks at the expense of Jamie Gittens and Pedro Neto.
For Everton, Seamus Coleman, Jarrad Branthwaite (both hamstring) and Merlin Rohl (hernia) are all sidelined with injuries, while Thierno Barry should be fit to feature despite sustaining a minor shoulder problem after scoring his first goal for the club in last weekend’s win over Forest.
Everton midfield duo Idrissa Gueye and Tim Iroegbunam are both available to return after serving suspensions. The former is expected to start in a deep-lying role alongside James Garner, while the latter is more likely to begin as a substitute.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has netted three in his last four games to become Everton’s joint-top Premier League scorer this season with four goals this season. The 27-year-old could be moved up into an advanced midfield role behind the striker at the expense of Carlos Alcaraz.
Chelsea probable XI
