Chelsea’s recent form has been far from encouraging, with the Blues losing three of their last four matches. Their only win in that run came against Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup and even that performance left fans far from convinced.
Softfootball understands that pressure has been growing outside the club, with supporters frustrated by the team’s inconsistency and lack of spark in big games. Despite the noise, Chelsea remain calm internally.The Italian coach is still seen as the right man to lead the long-term project at Stamford Bridge, with no immediate thoughts of making a managerial change.

According to top journalist Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, the board have made it clear that Enzo Maresca continues to enjoy their full backing, his post reads;
Chelsea board never had doubts: Enzo Maresca remains the manager and there are no issues or thoughts about immediate change. Barring any surprises over the next 8 months, Maresca seen as ideal manager to lead the project and any review will be made at the end of the season.
That confidence comes even after a turbulent spell, where Chelsea have had two red cards in their last two Premier League games ,defeats to Manchester United and Brighton. it is no news that fans have been left frustrated by Maresca’s team selections and in-game decisions, especially in the narrow 2-1 loss to United where many felt he could have made better substitutions.

Still, it hasn’t all been negative under the Italian. Since replacing Mauricio Pochettino two years ago, Maresca has delivered some historic highs for Chelsea guiding them into the UEFA Conference League and, most memorably, masterminding a stunning 3-0 win over PSG in the newly rebranded Club World Cup finals, That triumph, achieved against all odds, earned him the admiration of the Chelsea board and bought him valuable credit with supporters.
Now, both the board and fans will be hoping Maresca can steady the ship and restore consistency. Chelsea’s next test is a big one, a Champions League clash against Benfica, led by none other than their former manager José Mourinho. It’s the perfect opportunity for the Blues to show resilience and remind Europe what they’re capable of.
