Chelsea and Bournemouth battled to a stalemate at the Vitality Stadium in the premier league Match-Day 15 fixture, Softfootball reports’
The Blues were pummeled 3-1 by Leeds United in midweek and were desperate for redemption against a Bournemouth side that also lost 1-0 in midweek to Everton. Cole Palmer started his first match since he returned from injured but he didn’t look sharp like the midfielder that helped the team win the FIFA Club World Cup.

Chelsea were obviously disappointed by the result as they missed the chance to close the gap on Arsenal after the Gunners lost 2-1 to Aston Villa in the launch time kick-off. The Blues official X handle posted:

Chelsea striker Liam Delap appeared to dislocated his shoulder after pulling down Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi while defending a corner. The former Ipswich star was then replaced by Marc Guiu, who also went off injured in the second half.

Just last month after Chelsea defeated Barcelona 3-0 in the UEFA Champions League leg, Delap claimed they executed their gameplan perfectly but they have failed to win any games since they, drawing against Arsenal with 10 men, losing at Elland Road against Leeds United and now playing an away draw against Bournemouth.
Antoine Semenyo was the most lively forward in attack for Bournemouth. The Ghanaian had a goal ruled out by VAR in the first half and in the second half he found space for a shot from the left side of the pitch but Robert Sanchez in goal for Chelsea was equal to it.

The match ended goalless with both sides not finding the winner. Bournemouth are now without a win in six matches while Chelsea have not won in three premier league matches.
Chelsea remain fourth on the premier league table with 25 points while Bournemouth sit 13th with 20 points after 15 matches so far this season.
