Fulham defender Calvin Bassey and Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye have both arrived at the national team camp ahead of the upcoming international friendlies against Poland and Portugal.

Softfootball believes, Bassey’s arrival increases the number of players in camp to 20, as preparations intensify for the two high‑profile encounters. The Super Eagles will face Poland on Wednesday at the 58,000‑capacity PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, with kick‑off scheduled for 7:45 pm.

Meanwhile, Okoye has already taken part in his first training session with the national team after joining camp. The Udinese shot‑stopper arrives in excellent form following an impressive Serie A campaign. Okoye kept 10 clean sheets and made several crucial saves that helped Udinese secure a 10th‑place finish, one of the club’s strongest league performances in recent years.
