Roma defender Angelino is attracting fresh interest from the Premier League, with both Bournemouth and Crystal Palace reportedly enquiring about a possible move. The Spanish full-back is expected to leave the Stadio Olimpico this summer as the Italian club seeks to generate funds for incoming transfers.
Angelino featured heavily for Roma last season, making 51 appearances across all competitions and starting 36 of 38 Serie A games. Despite his contributions, newly appointed Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini does not see the 28-year-old in his future plans. The club is now keen to offload the defender, who still has a contract running until 2028.
His proposed transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal broke down when the club turned its attention to securing Theo Hernandez. With that option gone, Roma are now exploring other destinations for Angelino.
According to Il Messaggero, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace have both made initial enquiries but are yet to submit official offers. Both clubs reportedly value Angelino at no more than €12 million.

Crystal Palace may be more inclined to push for a deal. Their current left-back, Tyrick Mitchell, remains the first-choice option under Oliver Glasner, but the departure of Ben Chilwell following his loan expiration leaves them without backup on that flank.
Bournemouth’s interest, on the other hand, is more puzzling. Although they are finalizing a deal to sell Milos Kerkez to Liverpool, the Cherries have already secured Adrien Truffert from Rennes as his successor. Unless plans are in motion to loan out young full-back Julio Soler, it’s unclear where Angelino would fit into Andoni Iraola’s setup.
The former Manchester City defender’s potential return to the Premier League now hinges on whether either English club decides to formalize their interest with an acceptable bid in the coming weeks.
