Bernardo Silva has confirmed that Barcelona are among the options he is considering for the next chapter of his career, but stressed that no final decision has been made, Softfootball reports.
Speaking to the media, the Portuguese midfielder made it clear that several clubs are interested and that he intends to choose a team where he feels genuinely valued.
This was his statement:
Barcelona is one of the options but I’ve NOT made any final decision yet.
There are many options and I have respect for all interested clubs.
In the end I’m going to try to find a team where they want me, where I feel they really love me. That is very important and the day I make my decision they will know.
Silva bided an emotional farewell to Manchester City after the 2025/26 season, ending a nine‑year spell filled with trophies, iconic performances and leadership. He has consistently maintained that he will only make up his mind about his next club after the 2026 World Cup, where he is expected to play a key role for Portugal.
