FC Bayern agree deal to sign 17 year old Ecuadorian talent Virgilio Olaya from SD Aucas. German side already planning for his next move on loan, as @reijournalist reports.

FC Bayern had brushed past RB Leipzig with 6-0 to kickstart their 2025/26 Bundesliga campaign, showcasing their attacking strength. This news can be said to have arrived at a time when Bayern Munich has continued to impress.

Recently, they had also secured a noteworthy 3-1 win over Bayer 04 Leverkusen in their Premier League match. Seeing the competition that comes with securing a place in Bayern’s first team especially among defenders, signing a young talent like Olaya and then sending him on a loan might not be a bad idea.

It gives him a chance to develop and gain better experience while Bayern continue to build their squad.

This move is a major step for Olaya because he gets to experience more advanced coaching and facilities which could be a step to a well fulfilled career in European football for him.
