Internal reports suggest Barcelona are preparing their first official bid for Julián Álvarez, with the offer expected to be sent in the coming days without any players included.
This development comes shortly after Barcelona secured the signing of Anthony Gordon from Newcastle for a €70 million fixed fee, with add‑ons pushing the total package above €80 million.
Álvarez has already informed Atlético Madrid of his desire to leave after rejecting a new contract months ago. Although the official bid has not yet been submitted, everything indicates that Barcelona are now ready to move.
