In Softfootball’s preview before the encounter, it was highlighted that Barcelona intend to extend their lead on top of LaLiga as any slip will allow Real Madrid back on the summit.
Interestingly, it was the home side that went in front when former Manchester United winger, Antony turned neatly on the edge of the six-yard box and smashed the ball into the roof of the net after Barcelona fail to clear their lines.

But the defending LaLiga champions equalised as Jules Kounde’s low cross was turned in by Spanish international Ferran Torres. Two minutes later, he gave Barcelona the lead with a brilliant volley as Betis defenders failed to close him down.
Roony Bardghji, who joined Barcelona from Copenhagen in the summer showed great composure as he received a pass from Pedri before finishing with aplomb to make it 3-1. It was his first goal for the Catalan giants and they shared a video via their official X handle of how he celebrated the goal. Watch below.
