Softfootball gathered that The new strip is inspired by the concept “The Heartbeat of Madrid”, paying tribute to the city’s vibrant nightlife and energetic atmosphere. Featuring black as the dominant colour alongside striking Volt details, the kit represents a bold and modern direction for Atlético, designed to reflect the intensity, passion, and emotion surrounding the club’s biggest moments.
Atlético confirmed that the away kit is now available in official stores across the Community of Madrid and through the club’s online store. The team is also expected to debut the strip during Sunday’s league clash against Villarreal CF.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa have also unveiled their 2026/27 home kit ahead of their return to the UEFA Champions League next season. The club confirmed the shirt takes inspiration from classic 1960s designs following an outstanding campaign under Unai Emery.
Villa’s new kit launch comes shortly after the club secured both a top-four Premier League finish and the UEFA Europa League title, with supporters reacting positively to the retro-inspired look revealed earlier this week.
