Contrary to the news circulating recently about Leandro Trossard summer move to Fenerbahçe, transfer expert and journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the Turkish club are not in concrete talks with Arsenal for the Belgian winger.
Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 and quickly became a fan favourite with his slick footwork, goals, and relentless energy off the bench, as Softfootball gathered.
The 30 year old directly contributed to 20 goals in 56 appearances in the 2024-25 campaign, 10 of his own, and 10 assists and he did not miss a single Premier League match last season.

Leandro Trossard’s Arsenal contract expires in 2026, meaning he will be in the final year of his deal in the new season. Earlier this year, it was reported that Arsenal were planning to keep Trossard and were ready to hand him a new long-term deal to stay at the club, one that would prolong his partnership with the Gunners until 2029.
However, there appears to have been no progress on that front, and with Madueke providing further competition next season, Trossard’s future will naturally become the subject of increasing speculation.
Rumours about his next potential destination have been circulating, with Fenerbahce being the club most linked with the player.
Fabrizio Romano has now reported that there is no truth to these rumours.

In an earlier update, Softfootball reported that Arsenal schedule crucial meeting as £315,000-a-week striker emerges as Gyokeres alternative. Arsenal are said to have identified Vlahovic as a potentially cheaper alternative to their top target Viktor Gyokeres, for whom Sporting Lisbon are demanding around €80m (£69m) according to journalist Rahman Osman.
Dusan Vlahovic, who has finished top scorer in all three seasons at Juventus has turned down moves to both the Saudi Pro League and Turkish Super Lig.
Juventus are looking to offload Vlahovic’s hefty £315,000-a-week wages this summer and are even claimed to be prepared to terminate his contract to speed up his exit. Vlahovic is also believed to be high on Manchester United’s list of targets this summer, along with Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo.
