Softfootball believes that Mosquera is joining the Gunners after a fee of €20m including add-ons was agreed between Arsenal and Valencia.

Addition of Mosquera brings more stability to the Arsenal’s defense as William Saliba now has a proper cover in the RCB position. Mosquera can also function in LCB which gives enough backing for Gabriel Magalhães and Jakub Kiwior.

Mosquera’s versatility can also see him play in right back which means even if Jurien Timber and Ben White are injured, the Gunners are still well covered in the position unlike last season where now exited Thomas Partey was deployed into the position.

Mosquera will now the queue of new arrivals at the Emirates stadium this transfer window as the Gunners have already signed for the senior team Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Noni Madueke.
