Arsenal are aiming for a historic season as the club sets its sights on winning every major trophy available, with the Premier League and Champions League among their biggest priorities.
The Gunners are determined to turn their recent progress into silverware, and the players appear to share Mikel Arteta’s ambition of competing for every title. Their mentality reflects the belief that Arsenal have the quality and determination to challenge on all fronts this season.
Speaking about the club’s ambitions, one Arsenal player stressed that winning trophies is the shared objective of the manager, supporters and squad.
The goal is to win the Champions League, the Premier League, to win everything!
the player said.
That’s what the manager wants. That’s what the fans want and what we as players want as well.
The player also insisted that Arsenal can realistically compete for four trophies, underlining the confidence within the dressing room.
Can we win all four trophies this season? Absolutely. This is the mentality. This is the aim,
he added.
The statement highlights the expectations surrounding Arteta’s team as they look to challenge for domestic and European honours. Arsenal’s ability to manage their squad, maintain consistency and handle pressure across multiple competitions will be crucial to achieving that ambition.
However, the club’s pursuit of success comes amid reports of significant changes behind the scenes. Softfootball understands that Arsenal are reportedly planning to cut 60 jobs just days after handing Arteta a deal worth £25 million per year. The reported move has drawn attention to the club’s wider restructuring as it continues to invest in its long-term ambitions.
While the players remain focused on winning trophies, Arsenal will need to balance their sporting targets with decisions affecting the wider organisation.
For Arteta and his squad, the message is clear: competing is no longer enough. Arsenal want to turn their ambition into trophies and establish themselves among Europe’s elite.
