Arsenal have officially announced the signing of highly rated youngster Max Dowman on a pre-contract agreement that will see him sign professional terms when he turns 17 in December. The club confirmed the development via a post on their official X account, expressing delight at securing the midfielder’s future.
In their statement, Arsenal said;
We are delighted to announce that Max Dowman has signed a pre-contract agreement with the club that will lead to him signing professional terms when he turns 17 in December.
According to SoftFootball, the deal was never in doubt, with Dowman only wanting Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta determined to keep him at the club.
The announcement comes just days after Arsenal finished the UEFA Champions League league phase unbeaten following a 3–2 victory over Kairat. It also builds on steps taken in October, when the Gunners signed the 15-year-old on a scholarship deal, marking a major milestone in his development at the club.
