Arsenal FC have officially confirmed that 15 first-team players will represent their respective countries at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the club sharing fixture schedules and key match details through their official X account ahead of the tournament.

Softfootball understands that the announcement reflects Arsenal’s squad strength following their historic 2025/26 Premier League title-winning campaign, while also sparking discussions among supporters about possible fatigue and fitness concerns after the competition.
Arsenal’s World Cup involvement begins on June 13 as Brazil national football team face Morocco national football team at MetLife Stadium, with Gabriel Magalhães and Gabriel Martinelli expected to feature.
Other notable fixtures include Kai Havertz representing Germany national football team against Curaçao national football team, while David Raya, Mikel Merino and Martín Zubimendi prepare for Spain national football team’s clash against Cape Verde national football team.

The schedule also features major games involving William Saliba’s France national football team, Martin Ødegaard’s Norway national football team, and England stars Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke.
However, FIFA recently confirmed the referees for the tournament’s opening fixtures, including Mexico versus South Africa.
