Arsenal have completed an agreement to sign Greek international Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge in a deal worth €40 million, with the winger now cleared to undergo his medical before the move is officially announced. All documents have been signed between the clubs, bringing Arsenal’s pursuit of the 24-year-old to a successful conclusion.

The transfer comes less than 48 hours after Softfootball reported that Tzolis had made Arsenal his preferred destination, rejecting interest from other clubs while waiting for the Gunners to formalise their move.

Tzolis is understood to have turned down multiple offers elsewhere in order to secure a switch to the Emirates Stadium, underlining his determination to work under Mikel Arteta. Arsenal believe his pace, creativity and eye for goal will add another dimension to their attack.

The Gunners are also expected to remain active in the transfer market, with additional attacking reinforcements, including Morgan Rogers, still under consideration as Arteta continues to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.
