AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan has been named the AIC Player of the Month for November, Softfootball reports. The award is given by the Associazione Italiana Calciatori (AIC) which recognises the best player in Serie A for that month based on votes from professional players and experts.

The club made the announcement on their Official X handle, congratulating him,

This award comes after his contract expiration by 2026 was made known by Director Tare and the club was working towards a solution. Despite that, Maignan’s excellent November is evident as he played a key role in several important matches for AC Milan.
His ability to make crucial saves helped the team stay competitive in the league as they battled at the top of the table. In November, Maignan helped Milan secure wins in three tough Serie A games against Inter Milan, AS Roma and Lazio.
His performance in these matches were important to secure points that’ll push his club up the Serie A standings. The award shows and brings to light how important Maignan’s performance has been for Milan this season.
