Softfootball can confirm that Oliver Glasner and the Crystal Palace F.C. board are in direct discussions regarding the German-based Austrian manager’s immediate future.
According to statements from Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Glasner is expected to leave the club in June. However, an earlier departure could now be anticipated if Palace decide to proceed with a mutual agreement.
Romano stated:
Oliver Glasner and Crystal Palace board, in direct discussions today about the manager’s immediate future. Glasner will leave in June but exit could be anticipated and happen shortly if #CPFC accept to proceed.
Palace’s struggles continued in Europe as they were held in Bosnia by HŠK Zrinjski Mostar in the Conference League. The result means Glasner’s side have won just one of their last 15 matches in all competitions, deepening concerns over form and direction.
The Austrian coach appeared visibly frustrated at full-time, with pressure mounting as results fail to improve. While a summer exit had already been planned, the possibility of an early separation would allow Palace to begin preparations for next season and establish continuity ahead of a crucial campaign.

The club now face a significant decision: appoint an experienced manager immediately to steady the ship, or promote from within and give a promising internal candidate the opportunity to lead.
