The UEFA Champions League playoffs continue today, 17th February 2026, as teams that failed to qualify directly for the round of 16 battle for survival in Europe’s biggest competition.

One of the standout fixtures sees Galatasaray S.K. take on Juventus. The two sides have met only four times in history, with Galatasaray winning twice, Juventus once and one match ending in a draw. Their last meeting ended in a 1:0 victory for the Turkish side.

All eyes will be on Victor Osimhen, who will be expected to lead Galatasaray’s attack. However, this will not be easy, even though Juventus have faced a difficult season so far.
Another big clash features AS Monaco FC against defending champions Paris Saint-Germain. Unfortunately, this PSG side does not look as dominant as last season.
Softfootball gathered psg recently lost 3:1 to Stade Rennais football club, and reports suggest there was some misunderstanding between coach Luis Enrique and Ousmane Dembélé after the match. In their last 10 meetings, PSG have won five times, Monaco three times, with two draws recorded.
SL Benfica will face Real Madrid CF in what promises to be another intense encounter. Madrid are in strong form, but Benfica have won the last two meetings between both sides, making this tie far from predictable.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund will clash with Atalanta BC. The teams have met three times, with one win each and one draw. Dortmund come into this match in good form, currently unbeaten in their last six games. Atalanta, however, are adjusting after the departure of Ademola Lookman.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, 18th February 2026 (all times in British time), the fixtures continue:
- Qarabağ FK vs Newcastle United F.C. – 17:45
- Olympiacos F.C. vs Bayer 04 Leverkusen – 20:00
- FK Bodø/Glimt vs Inter Milan – 20:00
- Club Brugge KV vs Atlético de Madrid – 20:00
The playoff stage is always unpredictable, and with top clubs under pressure, tonight and tomorrow promise drama across Europe.
