Senegal’s historic AFCON 2025 victory has been followed by an extraordinary gesture of appreciation from the country’s leadership. President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has officially honoured the champions with a combined reward package worth $6.2 million, alongside large allocations of prime land.

Softfootball, gathered following Senegal’s dramatic 1–0 victory over host nation Morocco in the AFCON 2025 final, the President approved a reward scheme that recognises both players and technical staff for lifting the nation to the summit of African football once again.

  • 💰 Players: $135,000 each + 1,500 m² plot of land on the Petite Côte
  • 💰 Technical & Backroom Staff: $90,000 each + 1,000 m² plot of land
  • 🌍 Total land allocation: 68,000 m²

The generous rewards underline the national importance of Senegal’s triumph and the pride generated by Pape Thiaw’s Lions, who delivered the country’s second AFCON title under intense pressure.
