Al Nassar arrived at this game hoping to bounce back from their shocking 3-2 defeat to Al Ahli following their recent 5-1 victory against Al Zawraa.

The visitors started brightly, full of confidence, aware that a win could tighten the title race. Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring just before the break, calmly tapping home from close range after a clever assist from Kingsley Coman in the 42nd minute.

It was the typical Ronaldo finish: composed, precise, and enough to send Al Nassr into halftime with a deserved 1-0 lead after controlling most of the first half.

Al Hilal, unusually quiet in the first 45, came back out with renewed energy. The crowd could feel it immediately. The tempo surged, pressure mounted, and the equaliser arrived in the 57th minute when Salem Al-Dawsari coolly converted a penalty, swinging momentum decisively toward the hosts.

From there, Al Nassr struggled to regain their rhythm. Al Hilal moved the ball faster, sharper, and with growing belief. The real turning point came in the 81st minute: Mohamed Kanno finished neatly following a crisp pass from Rúben Neves. Simple and effective, and the crowd loved it.

Any doubt was finally erased deep into stoppage time when Neves stepped up to convert another penalty in the 90+2nd minute, sending the stadium into jubilation.

Al Hilal then smartly managed the closing moments, tightening defensively and killing Al Nassr’s momentum. The victory extends their lead atop the table and reinforces their authority in this heated rivalry. Al Nassr had flashes of promise, yes, but champions find ways, and Al Hilal just did exactly that.
