Martin Odegaard has expressed delight after scoring his first goal for Arsenal this season, Softfootball reports.
The Gunners Captain opened scoring in the Natch-Day 18 of the Premier League as he led Arsenal to a hard fought 2-1 win over Brighton at the Emirates on Saturday night.

Speaking after the match in an interview shared via Arsenal’s official X handle. Odegaard revealed:
I’ve been waiting for that one and working really hard to improve on the finishing. I like to be in those areas, and Bukayo [Saka], we know each other really well, he finds me there, and there was a little angle in the corner there, so it was a good goal. It was brilliant. As I said, we’ve been working really hard to get it, and it was there, so we’re really pleased.
Odegaard who claimed that Viktor Gyokeres is settling well at the Emirates is one player the Gunners are hoping to get back at his best as they chase the league title.
Arsenal are back on top of the league with 42 points after 18 matches in the Premier League so far this season.
