Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery continued with his recent habit of having at least a Manchester United player on loan with Jadon Sancho and believes his side needs his skills this season, Softfootball reports.
Sancho was in the starting line-up on Thursday night when Aston Villa beat Young Boys 2-1 in the Europa League courtesy Donyell Malen’s brace as the club moved into third on the table with a chance of qualifying automatically for the next round if they maintain their position in the top eight.

In an interview shared by football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Emery revealed his happiness with Sancho and urged him to keep improving. Fabrizio wrote:
Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery on Jadon Sancho: We need a player with his skills. We need him improving, getting fit and confident. Hopefully he can help us with his skills and qualities this season.
Sancho is not a regular starter in the Aston Villa line-up and was even substituted during a game where he was also a substitute. But that episode was quickly dealt with by the manager as he explained that it was purely tactical.

Sancho, who was included in Aston Villa’s Europa squad immediately he joined the club on loan from Manchester United has started more in the Europe than in the premier league where he hoped to prove the Red Devils wrong for trading him off. However, he has not lived up to the marks set by Marcus Rashford, another Manchester United player that served on loan at Villa Park.
Sancho will hope to continue in the starting XI when Aston Villa face Wolves in the premier league Match-Day 13 on Sunday.
