Although, White House officials described Ronaldo’s visit as a casual sidebar on international relations and sports investments ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ronaldo who missed Portugal’s 9-1 demolition of Armenia was in the company of the Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who was in the United States to discuss a $600 billion business investment in the country which could rise to a trillion.
After the dinner which had the likes which had in attendance Melania Trump, JD Vance, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Elon Musk, FIFA President Giovanni Infantino and others at the White House, Cristiano Ronaldo had a selfie with all of them as shared by football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle. My son is a big fan of Ronaldo. And Baron (Trump) got to meet him, and I think he respects his father a little bit more now, just the fact that I introduced you.
