Tottenham Hotspur have received a significant financial boost as their majority owners, ENIC, have injected an additional £100 million ($133.87 million) into the club to help drive “long-term sporting success”, Softfootball reports.

This latest investment comes just weeks after the North London club revealed it had turned down two preliminary takeover approaches, firmly insisting that Tottenham are not for sale.

Softfootball earlier reported that long-serving chairman Daniel Levy stepped down from his role after nearly 25 years at the helm, fueling speculation about potential changes in ownership and leadership direction at the club.

The £100 million equity injection, made through the Lewis family trust via ENIC Sports & Development Holdings Ltd, is designed to strengthen Tottenham’s financial position and provide more resources for its leadership team as they push for sustained success both on and off the pitch.

The club confirmed the news in an official statement. According to Tottenham, via the team’s official website, they stated:

This equity injection will further strengthen the club’s financial position and equip the club’s leadership team with additional resources to continue the focus on driving long-term sporting success.

This additional capital is part of the Lewis family’s ongoing commitment to the club and its future.

The fresh investment arrives at an encouraging moment for Spurs, who are showing positive signs under new manager Thomas Frank. Appointed in June, Frank has guided Tottenham to an impressive start, sitting third in the Premier League standings—just two points behind leaders Arsenal after seven matches.

Their recent 2-1 victory over Leeds United further highlights the growing momentum around the club as they look to build on their early-season form and turn this new financial backing into tangible success on the pitch.
