Brazilian forward, Rodrygo has claimed that he is a team player and gives 100% at Real Madrid despite playing from the bench most times this season, Softfootball reports.
The 24-year-old who joined the Los Blancos in 2019 from Santos was rumoured to be on the move to the premier league this summer with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City mentioned as possible destinations.
However, the player who was a second half substitute as Real Madrid beat Villareal 3-1 before the international break insists on staying at the Bernabeu and fighting for his place.

According to football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Rodrygo is not looking at leaving Real Madrid anytime soon. He wrote:
Rodrygo: “Being on the bench this season? You have to respect the coach’s decisions. If I start, I’ll play at 100%, and if I’m on the bench, same thing”.
“If I play 20 minutes, I have to make the most of them. I try to enjoy it every minute I play for this club”, told AS.
Rodrygo is currently behind Vinicius Junior and new signing Franco Mastantuono in the pecking order. He believes manager, Xabi Alonso still values his input in the team and as a team player he would help the team reach its objectives this season.
The Brazilian has already been part of Real Madrid squads that won LaLiga and UEFA Champions League titles and even at 24, he is already very experienced and doesn’t mind his role as a squad player.
Real Madrid are currently top of LaLiga with 21 points after eight matches, two points ahead of bitter rivals Barcelona.
