Speaking about the game, Coach Oliver Glasner told the club media, crediting his team’s collective effort in winning their first European game of the season.
He said:

Since they won the FA cup last May against City, Crystal Palace have been red hot, becoming the second club in England to have won two trophies in 2025 after beating Liverpool to scoop the Community shield title.
Coach Glasner and his boys will resume club activity after their wins to compete against Everton on Sunday. Currently, Crystal Palace are third on the log with 12 points having the record as the only club with an unbeaten status in the league.
