Leeds United have reportedly reached an agreement to sign AC Milan forward Noah Okafor, and he’s set to travel for a medical in the next 24 hours.
It’s been a busy summer transfer window for Leeds, and their business has already started to pay off with an impressive start to the Premier League season.
The Yorkshire club defeated Everton at Elland Road 1-0, with Lukas Nmecha coming off the bench to score a late penalty, after James Tarkowski was adjudged to have handled in the box.

Softfootball understands that Leeds are looking for attacking reinforcement following their return to the Premier League, and Manager Daniel Farke is keen to bolster his options ahead of a long and gruelling campaign, where he will need all hands on deck.
The Whites need a top-calibre option to call upon if Wilfried Gnonto suffers an injury, fatigues, or loses form and they’ve turned to Okafor, who started last season at AC Milan but ended up winning the Scudetto with Napoli after joining on loan, even though he only made four appearances.
Okafor’s time in Milan has been underwhelming. He managed only seven goals and five assists in 54 appearances for the Rossoneri. However, he has proven to be a potent weapon off the bench.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his X handle, Noah Okafor’s move to Leeds United is a done deal, with AC Milan set to receive a fee of over €20 million.
The Swiss forward will sign a four-year contract with the option of an additional season, following direct talks with manager Daniel Farke. Okafor is now preparing for his Premier League switch, with medical tests scheduled within the next 24 hours. His tweet reads:
“Noah Okafor to Leeds United, here we go! Deal in place as revealed last night for fee over €20m to AC Milan.
Okafor set to sign four year contract with option for further season, ready for PL move after Daniel Farke’s calls.
Travel for medical scheduled in next 24h.”
Leeds supporters will be hoping Okafor can display the quality he showed in his last two seasons with RB Salzburg, where he got into double digits in goals in both campaigns and earned a move to Milan in 2023.
In a related post, Softfootball reported earlier that the Serie A giant, AC Milan have officially landed Belgian centre-back Koni De Winter from Genoa in a permanent €20 million transfer, signing the 23-year-old on a five-year contract until June 30, 2030.
