Latest reports suggest that AC Milan have reached a verbal agreement with Genoa for defender Koni De Winter for a move this summer.
Softfootball understands that the Belgium international had already agreed personal terms with the Rosseneri and waiting on both clubs to agree on a fee for his services.

This evening, football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has informed via his official X handle that has reached its final stages after AC Milan verbally agreed a deal with Genoa and medicals are scheduled for next week.
He wrote:
“Koni De Winter to AC Milan, here we go! Verbal agreement done with Genoa and player side.
“Package around €20m with clubs sorting final details then green light to medical tests in Milano early next week.
“De Winter will sign long term deal at Milan.”
The Genoa defender Koni De Winter had agreed personal terms with the Serie A giants ahead of a transfer this summer.
De Winter also attracting interest from AC Milan’s Series A rivals, Inter and the Premier League duo, Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur but the defender preferred a move to the Sansiro.
Earlier in the day, Fabrizio Romano reported that talks were ongoing between AC Milan and Genoa for the player. He said:
“Koni De Winter has agreed on personal terms with AC Milan, yes to the project.
“Negotiations between AC Milan and Genoa are ongoing with request around €25m total package.
“Genoa are open to finding a solution as De Winter wants Milan.”
Juventus will benefit from this deal with 20 per cent of the fee going to the Old Lady as part of their agreement when he left the Turin club for €8m in 2024.
AC Milan’s new coach Maximiliano Allegri is a huge fan of the experienced defender, having worked with him at Juventus.
AC Milan has so far had an interesting pre-season so far, they hammered Premier League champions Liverpool 4-2, drew 1-1 against newly promoted Premier league side Leeds United and were then pummeled 4-1 by FIFA Club World Cup champions, Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
