JJ Gabriel agrees new Man United deal amid Ronaldo comparisons

Manchester United have secured a major coup in their youth development strategy, with 14-year-old sensation JJ Gabriel agreeing to sign a new contract at Old Trafford, despite interest from top European clubs including Barcelona and Real Madrid.

JJ Gabriel has quickly risen to prominence as one of the most talked-about teenage prospects in world football. Known for his dazzling dribbling, pace, and eye for goal, he has drawn comparisons with Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar — high praise for a player yet to turn 15.

The Red Devils had reportedly been concerned about losing the young forward, given the growing attention surrounding his potential. However, according to journalist Nathan Salt, a decisive intervention from director of football Jason Wilcox and head of recruitment Matt Hargreaves convinced Gabriel and his camp to commit to staying at the club.

Salt revealed that key meetings held over the past week were instrumental in shaping Gabriel’s decision. His report was backed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed that “several European top clubs” were vying for the player’s signature.

Born in October 2010, Gabriel still has months to go before he turns 15. Despite his age, he’s already making waves in Manchester United’s youth system, recently scoring twice for the Under-18s in a match against Stoke City’s U19 side in May — an impressive feat for someone so young.

The forward has reportedly outgrown Under-16s football, and sources within the club believe he’s not far off first-team consideration. New Man United manager Ruben Amorim is said to be keeping a close eye on Gabriel’s development, with whispers of a potential senior debut before he turns 16.

Should he feature for the first team within the next year, JJ Gabriel could become the youngest player in Manchester United’s history. The club hopes that his continued progression will justify the high expectations and comparisons to global superstars.Tools
