Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos could push for a summer exit as major European clubs monitor his situation at Stamford Bridge. The 21-year-old Brazilian, once considered one of Chelsea’s top youth prospects, is reportedly attracting interest from Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich.

Signed from Vasco da Gama in 2023, Santos endured a challenging loan at Nottingham Forest before reviving his form at Strasbourg in Ligue 1. He returned to Chelsea this summer and featured off the bench in the Club World Cup win over ES Tunis.

However, new manager Enzo Maresca has hinted that Santos still needs time to adapt to the club’s system. “He’s working well, but he needs to understand how we play,” Maresca said, emphasizing that all new players must adjust to the tactical demands of his setup.

Despite his potential, Santos is not viewed as a guaranteed starter. With Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez firmly ahead in the pecking order, Santos may find regular minutes hard to come by. Chelsea, though, are reportedly keen to keep him as a squad player for the upcoming season.

That plan may be tested. According to BBC Sport, Santos could request a move if his playing time remains limited. Arsenal have been keeping tabs on him, although their recent move for Brentford’s Christian Norgaard may affect their level of interest. PSG and Bayern Munich have also shown signs of pursuing the Brazilian.

Chelsea are currently undergoing another major overhaul, with several first-team players—including Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Joao Felix, and Armando Broja—made available for transfer. Outside of Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo, no player is considered “untouchable” in the squad.

In addition to Santos, forwards Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke are also facing uncertain futures. Arsenal are again linked, having reportedly inquired about both players in recent days.

As the transfer window heats up, Santos’s situation remains one to watch. With top clubs circling and competition fierce at Chelsea, his future could soon lie away from West London.
