Manchester United appear ready to part ways with Alejandro Garnacho following a dramatic breakdown in relations between the 20-year-old forward and manager Ruben Amorim. The club has reportedly received several approaches for the Argentine attacker, who could be sold for around £45 million this summer.
Despite being a regular fixture last season with 58 appearances, 11 goals, and 10 assists across all competitions, Garnacho’s future at Old Trafford is now in serious doubt.
He was excluded from the squad for the final Premier League fixture against Aston Villa and had previously voiced his frustration over being dropped for the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Tensions reached a boiling point when Garnacho’s agent and brother both publicly criticized Amorim, intensifying the rift. A recent incident added fuel to the fire: Garnacho posted a social media image wearing an Aston Villa shirt with Marcus Rashford’s name and number, a move that reportedly angered club executives.
Manchester United, determined to resolve the situation, are actively exploring transfer options. Originally valued at £70 million, the club has now lowered its asking price to £45 million to attract more serious bids. So far, concrete offers have not been confirmed, but interest in the Argentine winger is growing.
Among the suitors are top clubs in both Spain and Italy. Napoli and Atletico Madrid are said to be monitoring the situation closely. In the Premier League, Chelsea—previously linked to Garnacho in January—are once again expressing interest, and Aston Villa are also keeping tabs on the player amid ongoing uncertainty.

Garnacho has made 144 appearances for United, scoring 26 goals and providing 22 assists since breaking into the first team. His departure could provide funds and squad space for United’s rebuild under Amorim, who has already made his intentions clear by sidelining both Garnacho and Rashford following internal disputes.
With Garnacho’s time at United seemingly drawing to a close, the transfer saga now hinges on whether any of the interested clubs step forward with a formal offer to match the Red Devils’ reduced valuation.
