Manchester United have reportedly revived their interest in Fiorentina striker Moise Kean after missing out on top transfer target Viktor Gyokeres. The Sporting Lisbon forward, who was also being courted by Juventus, is said to favour a move to Arsenal — prompting United to reassess their options.
Moise Kean, who found the net 25 times in all competitions last season, including 19 goals in Serie A, has emerged as a standout alternative. The 25-year-old has drawn attention for his consistent form, ranking just behind Capocannoniere winner Mateo Retegui in the scoring charts.
Reports in Italy now suggest that the Premier League side are showing renewed and heightened interest in the Italy international. Kean previously struggled in England during a disappointing stint with Everton but appears eager to make amends with a return to the Premier League.

The forward’s Fiorentina contract includes a release clause of €52m (£44.5m), which becomes active for a brief two-week period between July 1 and July 15. During that window, La Viola may be powerless to prevent an exit should United trigger the clause.
While Fiorentina are determined to keep Kean, they are preparing for all outcomes. The Serie A club has signed veteran striker Edin Dzeko on a one-year deal as a contingency plan. The 39-year-old Bosnia-Herzegovina international netted 14 league goals last season for Fenerbahce and could temporarily fill the void if Kean departs.
Adding to Fiorentina’s concerns is a lucrative proposal from Saudi side Al Quadisiya, who are reportedly offering Kean a three-year deal worth £12.8m annually — a tempting financial package.
As the early July clause activation date nears, Manchester United may now accelerate their move for Kean, betting on his resurgence and untapped potential in England’s top flight.
