Barcelona are preparing for a major summer reshuffle, with head coach Hansi Flick reportedly planning to offload four players ahead of the 2025–26 season. According to reports from Fichajes, the German tactician has named Ansu Fati, Inaki Pena, Oriol Romeu, and Pablo Torre as players surplus to requirements.
After a highly successful first campaign in charge—securing the La Liga title, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup—Flick is wasting no time as he gears up for his second season. With Real Madrid set to pose a renewed threat under Xabi Alonso, Barcelona are keen to reinforce their squad but also clear out those not fitting into the new vision.
Ansu Fati tops the list of potential departures. The 22-year-old forward made just 11 appearances last season and has been linked with a move to Monaco. However, talks have stalled due to his hefty wages, which remain a stumbling block for potential suitors.

Meanwhile, backup goalkeeper Inaki Pena looks set to leave following the arrival of Joan Garcia from Espanyol, who is expected to become the new number one. With Wojciech Szczesny also on the verge of joining, Pena has slipped to fourth choice and is eager to find regular minutes elsewhere.
Veteran midfielder Oriol Romeu, returning from a loan spell at Girona, has yet to attract serious interest despite having only one year left on his contract. The club hopes to find him a new home before the window closes.
Lastly, Pablo Torre could be sent out on loan for further development. Villarreal are reportedly leading the race to secure the young midfielder, who remains highly rated within the club’s long-term plans. Barcelona’s clear-out is aimed at freeing up wage space and creating room for potential arrivals as Flick looks to mould a squad capable of defending domestic titles and competing in Europe.
