Gabriel Jesus has expressed his satisfaction with working under Hansi Flick at Barcelona, highlighting the manager’s ability to give confidence to every player and the quality of the squad around him.
The Brazilian forward believes Flick’s approach makes it easier for players to perform at their best, while the talent available within the Barcelona dressing room creates a positive environment for competition and development.
Speaking about his experience under the German coach, Jesus explained that Flick’s confidence in his players has been an important factor in his appreciation of the working relationship. He also pointed to the quality of his teammates, suggesting that playing alongside technically gifted footballers makes the game considerably easier.
Jesus’ comments reflect the importance of squad harmony as Barcelona continue working towards their objectives under Flick. The manager has focused on building a competitive team capable of challenging across domestic and European competitions, with confidence and collective quality remaining important elements of his approach.
Meanwhile, Barcelona consider the transfer window closed following Gabriel Jesus’ arrival, indicating that the club are prepared to work with their current squad rather than pursue further additions.
The decision suggests that Barcelona believe their existing options provide sufficient depth for the challenges ahead. Jesus’ presence could offer another attacking option, giving Flick greater flexibility when selecting his forward line and managing the demands of a long season.
For the Brazilian, adapting to his new surroundings and developing an understanding with his teammates will be crucial. His appreciation of Flick’s management style could also help him settle into the squad.
With the transfer window considered closed, attention will now turn towards performances on the pitch as Barcelona look to translate their squad quality into consistent results under Flick.
