Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will head to Burkina Faso with a 25-man squad for the 2026 WAFU B U17 Championship, with head coach Eboboritse Uwejamomere selecting three goalkeepers, seven defenders, eight midfielders and seven forwards for the tournament.
The competition will be hosted in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from October 10 to 23, 2026, with Nigeria drawn in Group B alongside Ivory Coast and Niger Republic.
The tournament also serves as a qualifying competition for the 2027 U17 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Morocco.
The Golden Eaglets are scheduled to depart Nigeria on Tuesday and will use their time in Burkina Faso to fine-tune preparations ahead of the start of the competition.
Nigeria’s opening match is scheduled for October 14.
