Super Eagles forward Moses Usor has opened up about his experience with the Nigerian national team as he prepares for the AFCON 2027 qualifying clash against Madagascar in Uyo.
Speaking with SoftFootball Media, Usor described his first experience of joining the Super Eagles camp as a special moment, particularly because he is now sharing the dressing room and training pitch with players he grew up watching on television.
The forward admitted that being surrounded by some of Nigeria’s established stars has been a great feeling, but he knows that the focus must now shift to the important task ahead against Madagascar.

Usor said.
With Nigeria beginning their AFCON 2027 qualifying campaign at home, Usor stressed the importance of the Super Eagles giving their best and playing to their strengths when they face Madagascar.
The forward also revealed what happened when he first received the news of his invitation to the national team. He described the moment as an amazing feeling and said his family were the first people he called because of the support they have given him throughout his career.
Usor explained that his teammates were also happy for him when they learned about his invitation, making the moment even more memorable as he began his journey with the Super Eagles.
The forward was also asked about the qualities he believes he can bring to a Nigerian attack that already contains several talented players.
Usor pointed to his attacking ability, saying he hopes his presence can provide an additional option and contribute to the team’s attacking strength.
As he continues to settle into the Super Eagles setup, Usor will be hoping to make the most of his opportunity and contribute to Nigeria’s campaign to qualify for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
